Regulatory Strategy
The Cosmetic Regulator provides strategic regulatory support for your products to ensure the best route to market before launch and continuous evaluation of the regulatory strategy throughout the product’s lifecycle.
Claims & Labelling Reviews
Claims and labelling need to be reviewed against the Regulations. Claims, in particular, can be tricky to review due to the competitiveness of the cosmetic product market. Labelling is not only impacted by the Cosmetic Product Regulations but also UK & EU other impacting regulations.
EU & UK Responsible Person
Due to BREXIT, all products placed on the UK market must have a UK Responsible Person (RP) who ensures compliance to the UK Cosmetic Regulation. The Cosmetic Regulator can be both your EU & UK Responsible Person.
Formulation Review & INCI List Generation
All intentionally and non-intentionally added ingredients need to be compliant to the Cosmetic Product Regulation as well as other impacting Regulations e.g. REACh, CLP. The INCI also needs to be present on the product and correct, taking into account all ingredients within the formulation.
PIFs
All cosmetic products placed on the market in the UK & across the EU must have a Product Information File (PIF). The Cosmetic Regulator can create and maintain these files for you with/without being the designated RP.
EU CPNP & UK SCPN
All cosmetic products in the UK & across the EU need to be notified on either the UK SCPN and/or EU CPNP. The Cosmetic Regulator ensures these have been created correctly and maintained throughout the product’s lifecycle.
